Women Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (WCCIMA, SALTCCIMA Chapter).

WCCIMA, SALTCCIMA Chapter is one of the two chapters of the Women Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (WCCIMA) in Ebonyi State. We are members of the umbrella body of Women Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (WCCIMA), which the Director General is Dr. Sophie Eribo. WCCIMA is the leading vioce of women in the orgianized private sector. WCCIMA, SALTCCIMA Chapter is dedicated to improving the lot of Ebonyi women in business or women-owned businesses, especially nano, micro, small, and medium businesses. We engage in advocacy geared towards providing women with the necessary tools, resources, and opportunities to succeed in the business world. We are duly registered with the Ebonyi State Ministry for Women Affairs and Social Development.

WCCIMA is dedicated to empowering women and advancing women in commerce, industry, mines, and agriculture. This is more than a statement but a commitment to enhance women partcipation in these sectors. WCCIMA creates a dynamic platform that not only fosters economic activity but also serves as a powerful advocate for women’s interests in the business world; through strategic initiatives, advocacy, and collaboration. WCCIMA vission is to be the foremost  catalyst for women’s economic development in Nigeria and beyond. We strive to transform the role of women in business, not just as participants but as leaders, influencers, and innovators. Our aim is  to drive sustainable economic growth, foster innovations, and influence policies for gender equality in business, making an impactful and transformative contribution to the global business landscape. What We Do

In pursuit of our core objectives, we have capacity to partner with local and international non-governmental organisations to better the lot of women through mentoring, information sharing, connections, and exposure to life-changing engagements. To realise the quest for a favourable business environment for women, there is need for synergy between the public sector, as represented by Government, and the organised private sector, as represented by women chamber of commerce.

OUR ACTIVITIES

We engage in activities such as capacity building trianings, workshops, seminars, conferences, and elightenment programs to equip our members with requisite skills to better reposition them to achieve their entrepreneurship potentials geared torwards great success in their various sectors of the economy.
